I got the spring cleaning bug a little early, so today I turned this:
into this:
And it took me 1 hour and only $23! I have always heard that when you have limited space you should use the height, so I bought some stackable baskets and shelves to create more space. Now my cans can stack and I can reach them without fear of a huge crash. It was so rewarding to get all of that clutter out and in the process I found some very interesting things too... like coffee from 2004! Ugh! I can't believe I'm admitting to that!
If you catch the spring cleaning bug a little early too, here's an idea for you. Ever wonder how to store all of those plastic bags from the store? I found a good use for an old wipes container...

Thanks for the bag idea! I didn't want to pay $10 for the storage container they sell at Walmart!
That's a great tip!
Hey There! That is an awesome idea. I can't wait to organize my bags. :)
I totally agree Marty, $10 is a lot to pay when we have so many wipes containers just waiting for a new life as a bag holder!
I just found your site and I love the bag idea! I just yesterday was yelling at the pile on my pantry floor! haha :) Thanks!
This is such a great idea! I'm definitely going to make one of these for our errant plastic bags.
You can also use empty powder detergent boxes and even kleenex boxes. A friend of mine used the cute square kleenex boxes to keep around the house for quick pick up when she was house training her puppy! You have to open the bottom of the box and reattach it with tape, but it work and even looks nice :)
OMG what a fab I idea do you know how many diaper wipes boxes i have laying aroud
