April's Create Meeting

Thursday night was our Create Meeting for April and we made hanging magnetic photo boards.
This was a really great craft to do with a group.  Here's what you need:
  • Liquid Fusion Glue
  • Metal Rectangle (ours was a part called TP57 because it already has holes)
  • Fabric
  • Ribbon
  • Cardstock Paper
  • Small nail
Start by laying the metal rectangle on the wrong side of the fabric.  We found that it's best to cut the corners of the fabric rectangle off to help when you fold, but we discovered this after I took the picture below, so hang with me!
After all four sides are glued down, cut a piece of cardstock to fit on the back and cover up the raw edges of the fabric.
Next grab your nail and poke a hole large enough to stick the ribbon through.
The ribbon is a little tough to pull through.  Use any means you have available... which includes teeth!  Tracy demonstrates this technique well!
Here are a few of our finished projects!  What fun!
