Mother's Day Cards

I'm taking a risk here.  I'm posting my Mother's Day cards for my mom and mom-in-law before the big day.  Let's hope they aren't looking!
These cards were really easy to make.  I just zig-zag stitched the flower and petals then straight stitched the flower stem and used some other funky stitch for the grass.  Then I straight stitched the yellow liner with one line down the center of the card and used rubber cement to glue the liner down.
A special thinks to my hostas for letting me shove cards in them for this photo shoot!
Proverbs 31:25-29
"She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.  She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.  She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.  Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: "Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all."

Wow, beautiful. You stitch right on paper? Can I use my regular sewing machine and needle?

Yep, you can stitch right on paper with no special needle or machine needed... just your normal stuff! I know, the possibilities are endless right!?
