Pincushion from Men's Shirt

I've needed a pincushion for such a long time now and I finally got around to making one.  This one took no time at all!  I used more Amy Butler fabric and the button portion of a men's dress shirt to add a little personality to the sides.
Why all the Amy Butler fabric lately?  She's having a contest!  Check it out!
On another front, my dad and I are salvaging some wood for the 3rd floor creative room project.  This entails power washing... my new favorite addiction!  It's coming along nicely.  More pictures to come.

That's a nice pincushion! I still have to make one for myself. I keep saying that, especially when I knock over the little box I keep my pins in, again. Maybe an idea for this weekend!

Nicola, My parents have a lake house that has been in the family for years. About 5 years ago dad tore down the house and built a log cabin. He had a lot of materials left over from building the log cabin, so that's the wood paneling that will go up in the attic. So to answer your question, yes that's our dock, but it's not our everyday house... that would be nice!
