Trendy Teal and Red. I've sold out.

I picked up a few yummy craft supplies yesterday. (What is it about pom pom fringe that makes me giddy!?) All of this stuff is for different projects, but I'm noticing a trend here...
By the way, this is going to be my Christmas Tree skirt soon.
And this is going to be my first oil cloth project. A zippered bag. (Are you proud of me that I'm tackling two biggies in one project... zippers and oilcloth, oh my!)
What projects are you working on? Have you started thinking about Christmas crafting yet?

I love the Christmas tree skirt fabric you chose! I'm *thinking* about ordering some pre-ruffled ivory fabric to make a new tree skirt this year!

I have ball trim in some form or fashion in every room of my house... it's my favorite! I also have a pinterest board dedicated to collecting ideas on how to use even more of it!

are you making the bag that i pinned?? :) so fun!!
just wondering, what craft stores do y'all have. i wish we had a hobby lobby, but the closest is in greenville. but what i've got now is WAAAAAY better than what i had in SD, which was NO craft store at all!! do you feel bad for me for having to endure that?? :)

Leslie, You're speaking my language! I'm on my way over to follow your pinboard RIGHT NOW!!

Alicia,
I got my zippers, yarn, pom pom fringe and red felt from Joannes Fabric. I don't get to go there much, it's a treat! The oilcloth is from the Charlotte Ikea... I love you Ikea!! The tree skirt fabric is from my favorite online shop... wish upon a quilt, cheesy name, GREAT store!

Sarah,
Check out my blog this week. I made the girls a couple of pillowcase dresses. I'm really getting into this sewing thing. I'm so glad since I really needed a new addiction :)

Your teal-and-cranberry combinations are so beautiful! I am definitely already starting to think about Christmas crafting. Earlier today I made two gifts for my sweet niece, and I have a handmade hat already stashed to give to my mom. : )
