Who likes spending a lot of money on gift tags that serve their purpose for such a short amount of time? Well, not me! Here's an idea for some tags that can be made for free.
Grab a few of your favorite paint samples from a hardware store, a hole punch and some scrap ribbon.
I liked these colors and when I cut them up I realized their names are "Candle light" and "Luminary." Very appropriate for Christmas I'd say! The Christmas trees were punched out of other samples and glued on.I'm going to use the paint sample on the right to mark our passage in Luke that we will read on Christmas morning. The two tags on the left were made by cutting each individual color out and hole punching them. These are so easy!
Here's my attempt at something a little more fancy! These paint samples are from the Martha Stewart paint collection at Lowes. This collection has all of the coordinating paint colors right on the tag. I think I may go get some more and whip up some birthday gift tags too!

Sarah...I'm about to hunt down my old Sherwin Williams paint decks and start cutting. You are a genius. Now think of something I can do with my fabric swatch books!! Merry Christmas!

What a great idea! I love this!
AH! I am in need of some gift tags and Lord knows I have plenty of paint swatches. While I'm mulling over the colors, Greta just goes to town picking up paint cards and I just let her so that it buys me a little time. :)
