Sorry for the lack of posting lately. I'm having complications with my pregnancy, so I'm on bed rest at the hospital right now and possibly for a few more weeks. Baby is doing well though and hopefully he will be able to hang in there and "cook" just a few more weeks (tomorrow I'll be 32 weeks along). I can't sit up long to work on the computer, so I've been catching up on lots of reading. Any good book suggestions?

Really sorry to hear about the complications. I am 32 weeks in a couple days too! Love reading your blog. Couple of the books I have read recently and enjoyed...
1. Hunger Games series, the 3rd will be out soon.
2. The Help.
3. The Uglies Series.
4. Percy Jackson Series.
5. Fablehaven Series.
Just a couple. Can you tell I have been laying down lots too?
Good Luck.
Sorry to hear that you're having complications. I suggest Eat, Pray, Love & The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.
I will be praying for you Sarah! I went on bed rest with Ellie for high blood pressure for about a month and had her at 37.5 weeks. God has a way of making us slow down. I also enjoyed The Glass Castle.
I am reading Captivating By Staci and John Eldredge. Such a good read! Sorry about any complications!
I am reading Grown up Girlfriends by Erin Smalley & Carrie Oliver. It's a Focus on the Family book....really enjoying it. Will say a prayer for you and your sweet baby boy!
oh no, that is awful! I hope everything goes okay and time passes quickly!
Will pray right now for your peace during these uncertain times.
I've just started A Busy Mom's Guide to Spiritual Survival and it's been great so far.
I just had my 3rd baby a month ago and juggling time with the Lord and 3 little ones is challenging. It has some great ideas for balancing life and focusing on what really matters.
I am sorry to hear that you are having some complications. I will be praying for you and your family.
Hope all goes well with baby! I love "These is my Words" and "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society"
So sorry to hear the you are having some complications with your pregnancy. My prayer for you and your precious little one is rest, peace and wholeness. May He be your strenght in your weakness, may he be your Joy. I love your blog and your creativity- such and inspiration. Here is an awesome book for inspiration it is an Aussie book so I have included a link to where you can purchase it. It is an AWESOME READ- 'Capture:30 days of inspiration' by Amanda Powell. http://capture30days.com/buy.html
Everything's going to be fine! Praying for you!
Good read: Three Cups of Tea
Sorry to hear about the complications, but I hope your little thing stays in a bit longer. I went into labor early with our first and have some of the same problems right now with our second, so bed rest will probably be in my furture, hopefully it won't be 6 weeks again. I was able to go through 2 Beth Moore studies and those were heavenly. As far as books after about the 6th book I really got tired of reading. I found crocheting helped a bit (even though I'm terrible at at), it was something I could do laying down, I also had my husband put a card table on the bed and the things I could do expanded tremendously. I really enjoyed doing jig saw puzzles, those babies helped passed the time. I'll be praying your baby stays put for a few more weeks, hang in there with the bed rest
I know how hard bed rest can be and I wish you the best. Keep us posted and take care!
The Frog Princess Series by E.D. Baker
Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers
So sorry you're on bed rest!
A few of the books I've read lately and really enjoyed are:
1. The Forgotten Garden (Kate Morton)
2. The Dark Divine (Bree Despain)
3. Sunday's at Tiffany's (James Patterson)
I hope that little guy stays put for you. Best of luck with the rest of your pregnancy!
Definitely thinking about you, that little one, and the rest of your family! If you've read any of the Shopaholic books by Sophie Kinsella and like them I suggest Twenties Girl. If you haven't read the Shopaholic series then I recommend it! These are all what I call "beach books" because they are totally fun and have no big underlying lesson. good luck with everything!
Prayers for you and your little.
I will be thinking about you and your little one. :)
Rest up and take it easy. Sending you kind thoughts and prayers.
Sorry you are having complications! I hope baby gets to cook as long as he needs. :)
I'm going to second the Hunger Games series. It is awesome! I've reread the first two since Ruby was born and can't wait for the third to come out next month.
Praying for you and your sweet family! I'll second Three Cups of Tea and add Same Kind of Different As Me to the list. I own both, so I could swing them by the hospital if you'd like.
I hope everything goes smoothly for you. My first son was born at 32 weeks. I remember vividly the visits from the neonatal surgeons that saw me prior to his birth (I was in the hospital for 4 days before he was born). They gave me best case / worst case scenarios and my son turned out better (much better) than their best case scenario (he's now a very happy 4 year old). He only spent one day in the NICU to get his body temperature normal. Long and short of it - God is in control.
As far as book recommendations - I've got nothing. I read brain mush like People and US Weekly when I was at the hospital :)
praying for you Sarah! If there is anything we can do for you and your family please do not hesitate to let us know! :)
Hang in there, Sarah! Sending good thoughts your way!!!
In addition to my crafting blog, I also write a book review blog that might have some good ideas for you:

Prayers for you!
Sorry to hear of the complications. Definitely praying for you, not just for healing, but that you would be at peace during this time.
Sarah - It's Amy Harvey. I can highly recommend Kevin's book - Jonah, John and the second greatest (but most avoided) Commandment. You can buy a copy online at www.InfantsNoMore.com or even on Amazon. Also, I was on bedrest with baby #2 - went into labor just about 31 weeks and was scared out of my mind during those few days in the hospital (missed my 3 year old boy at home so much too!!!). Then I did about 6 weeks on bedrest. Now 2 years later I can say she was worth it!!! Hang in there!
Will miss checking to see what you've created but wish the best for you and the little one.
My 4th was born 7 weeks early so I can understand. My water broke 2 1/2 earlier so I was in the hospital during that time.
Be patient and enjoy the quite time. Take time to finish the things you've been wanting to get to. The hospital is only fun for a little while, so get to know the nurses. They are wonderful people that will make you laugh and bring smiles to your face.
Best of luck my prayers are with you and your family.
keep checking in to see how you're doing sarah. thinking of you and baby.
