Valentine's Day Fortune Cookie Tutorial

Get ready for cuteness overload just in time for Valentine's Day!
They are sweet and calorie-free!  I'm going to show you how to make these adorable felt fortune cookies.
Here's what you need to make one fortune cookie:
  • One 4 1/2 inch in diameter circle cut from felt
  • 4 1/4 inch piece of ribbon
  • Wire Cutters
  • 4 1/4 inch piece of floral wire
  • Clear glue
  • Scissors
Cut one 4 1/2 inch in diameter circle from your felt and press it flat with a very hot iron.Squeeze out three lines of glue in the middle of the circle no wider than the diameter of your ribbon.
Next, place the wire on the middle line of glue and cover with the ribbon.  Allow it to dry completely according to the directions on the glue bottle or for 30 minutes.
Finally, bend the wire in half with the ribbon portion on the outside of the bend, then flip the two sides of the felt up making the fortune cookie shape.   Fill it with candy and you're all done!
