Blog of the Week: Rocky River Farmhouse

It's been a while since I've done a Blog of the Week, so we're due a really good one, right?!  I've got just the one... Rocky River Farmhouse!

My friends Adam and Natalie just moved to Charlotte, NC and bought a dream of a home!  It has a TON of potential, but will need a lot of TLC!
These two are most definitely the two for the job.  Adam is a licensed contractor and Nat is one of the most creative gals I know!  Between the two of them and the antics of their adorable little ones this blog has the recipe for a favorite.
As with any 1923 Farmhouse that has sat uninhabited for a few years, there are a lot of surprises around every corner... they just got the lot surveyed and discovered they had purchased about 3 acres for the price of half that!  The land is home to apple and pecan trees, a huge grape vine, bunnies, glass door knobs in every room, a horse stable Nat hopes to turn into a craft studio, an old filled well and this mint green kitchen (which may not have been one of the best surprises!)
This is the old well they hope to turn in to a play house for their adorable Greta!

I can't wait to follow Adam and Nat along as they renovate together... did I mention that they first met on an improv drama team?  Yeah, they are hilarious too!

Check out the Rocky River Farmhouse Blog and if you're itching for a video tour of the house or more about how God totally blessed their socks off with this home you can click on the links embedded!  Enjoy!
